India Education Options for Emiratis
The Indian Embassy has announced that in conjunction with the Consulate-General in Dubai, they are accepting applications from Emiratis for admission into the Bachelor of Engineering, Medicine, and Pharmacy programs at Indian universities. The courses are self-financing, with tuition ranging from $3000-$6000 a year. The new agreement will allow Emiratis to enroll at 28 different India education institutions after they meet the eligibility requirements set by the Indian government.
Eligibility for admission to the medical school programs requires at least 60% aggregate marks in physics chemistry and biology, and 50% in English on the qualifying exam. The eligibility criteria for the pharmacy programs are the same as for the medical school programs. For the engineering programs, candidates much have at least 60% in physics, chemistry and mathematics and 50% in English.
